BOXING: Club is back with a sell-out.(Sport) - Coventry Evening Telegraph (England)

RUGBY-based amateur club George Bilton stage the first promotion in their five-year history tomorrow night when they host the Midland Counties round of the Novice ABA senior championships at Benn Hall.

The show, which is the first in the town for some 15 years, is a sell- out and George have two of their own boxers aiming at titles - Carl Wright in the Class A cruiserweight division and Carl Ryan at welterweight in Class B. There will be a total of eight championship bouts with a supporting card which includes featherweight Danny Wright and welterweight Scott Ryan from the promoting club.

'It's the first show we have staged and a big occasion for the club,' said coach Paul Randall.

'We are delighted with the response and it is a good opportunity for people in the town to see our lads in action.'

Boxing starts at 8pm.
